This post goes out to my favorite realtor, literally the best I could’ve ever asked for -
Guy Maughan with Keller Williams.
When I say that this man took what could’ve been an extremely stressful process and turned it into one of the easiest things I’ve ever done, I’m not lying! I have never sold a home before, bought, but never sold. So when the time came to sell, my first thought was an old buddy of mine from high school:) I had seen how great he’d been at his job being a realtor all over social media and figured what the hell, why not?
BEST. DECISION. EVER!!! I lived out in the boonies, Yelm, WA. Pretty far from almost everything. He took the time to not only come out and meet face to face/see the house, but he had shown up with a packet already prepped and ready for me to look at. It included everything between comps in the area and what his goals/his companies goals were in this process. Extremely informative! And for someone like me (very detail oriented) that meant a lot! He also made sure that either him or someone with his team was always there for an appointment/showing/open house. And they were always on time and very friendly!
Move onto the listing phase and I was stressing! Wasn’t sure what all needed to be done to the house for it to be picture ready (we were still living in the home while it was on market) and the man sent me a checklist!! He came prepped and ready for people like me with tons of questions! And that’s one of the things I appreciate the most about Guy and his KW team - the time they ALL took to explain everything to me. It can be a little confusing selling a home, and there was never an ounce of frustration, even after I’m sure my many repeated questions
Last thing I wanna bring up before I wrap this up - to be plain, I have health issues. Sometimes it’s not easy for me to leave home. The level of not only understanding, but compassion as well was a huge blessing. They were more then able to accommodate for my last minute changes in schedules due to my health. And again - without an ounce of frustration
I’m thankful and blessed for being able to have Guy as my realtor. Not every day you get to say an old buddy from school happened to be a saving grace during a crazy time in life. Thank you for everything you did. If we ever decide to buy/sell again, you’ll be my first phone call!!
